With his new, flat woven jute rug collection offers Thecobel besides the classic collection of Aubusson carpets, a more contemporary touch to the interior.
Jute is a vegetable fiber that after a roting process, such of flax, is extracted from the plant. It grows in hot and humid regions, such as northern India and Bangladesh. Jute fiber may have a length of one to four meters and in color from brown to cream.
The different varieties of jute plants provide a wide range of qualities of fibers which, after spinning produces both coarse, strong threads but also soft fine silk shiny yarns.
For its collection chooses Thecobel a yarn that is distinguished by its strength, softness and silky shine. The palette of colors and variety of weaving patterns will create a warm and pleasant atmosphere.
